By my submitting this online application I confirm that:

  1. I am aware of the fact that Joy House Academy is a private school at which payment of school fees is compulsory in order to secure continued admission for the child whose admission is sought on this application.
  2. I am aware of the school fees and other additional costs payable and am also aware that no refunds will be given to parents within the term.
  3. I am aware that I will be required to sign a Financial Agreement/Undertaking to Pay School Fees upon acceptance of my child(ren) at the school.
  4. I am aware that, should I wish to remove my child(ren) from the school, I am required to give one term’s notice or make payment of a term’s fee in lieu of notice before removing the child(ren) from Joy House Academy.
  5. I accept that I am principal debtor for payment of school fees for the child(ren).
  6. I am aware that a non-refundable Application Fee of R500.00 (five hundred rand) is payable upon submission of an Application for Admission.
  7. I am aware that, once the child is accepted, a non-refundable Reservation Fee of R1,850.00 (one thousand eight hundred and fifty rand) is payable. These fees are to cover the costs of administration relating to the registration, assessment and acceptance of the child.

TRANSFER OR CHILD REMOVAL PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Parents are required to:

  1. 1(One) term’s notice is hereby given that the child will no longer attend the School.
  2. In the case of emigration, 3 (three) calendar months’ notice is required.
  3. I hereby confirm that I am familiar with the payment terms and conditions.
  4. This school leavers notice will only be valid if signed by the parent/legal guardian and an authorised school representative.
  5. In the case of student not attending the School for the full period, the person responsible for payment will still be liable for the full amount for the full period.-
    • Debit orders must be cancelled by sending a written notice to the school’s financial department. No refunds will be given in the case of late cancellation.
    • School reports will be released only if all outstanding amounts have been paid in full.

SCHOOL FEES CONTRACT

In case of missed payments

  • After one month a formal letter will be sent to the parent asking for the school fees account to be settled.
  • If there is no response, a warning letter will be sent after two months with suspension as an option; if after two months the account is not settled.
  • If there is still no response after three months, then the child will them be expelled from the school.
